So ya more shorter poses, I enjoyed them a lot more. Also spread my gesture drawings out a little and am starting to get back into a rhythm with them from figure drawing class.

For long pose spent entirely too long on her face, so kind of then moved all over the place. I like the hands.

Went straight from 1 minute gesture drawings into 15 minute than one long pose, I don't like that, need shorter poses for first hour to get pencil moving around page more.

I was pretty happy with these, at my current skill level this is the direction I want to go in. Use the life drawing session to further anatomical knowledge to apply towards comic narrative. Using a b lead in a lead holder in a sketchbook, scanning them in rather than taking pictures. The previous images don't look very good.

Two dudes last night, guy putting on event is mixing up the models on a consistent basis. Well I will post up tonights session work later.

More pencil work and newsprint. Wasn't into this session. Thinking about other things. Try to focus on drawing and learning about the human form and its relationship in space.

Back to pencil work this session. Missed a week visiting the family up in Astoria. Bad habits showing up. But important work getting through this and practice, practice and more practice. I enjoy these models. Also I have never worked with two models at once and it creates a unique space that I am a newborn too. How the two models play off each other and how they create realtionships between the figures.

Tried a little charcoal this session. I like the results I get with charcoal, BUT one of the main reasons I am doing this is too improve my art skills as it relates to my graphic novel "Ichi-Do" and am going to keep pushing line work instead of tonal form work.
